Michael vs Adam: 2015 Kansas Open

This is a game from the first Kansas Open that I went to, and where we met a lot of great players from Wichita. Both Michael and Adam were playing in the Amateur division–if you play either one of them now, you’ll find that hard to believe!

What I really like about Michael’s analysis here is the way he uses the computer–just enough to show him the path, but he doesn’t let it overcome his own assessments. (All game comments are Michael’s)

Zack vs Keith: 1. d4 d5 2. Nf3

This was a tough game to get any advantage in. I still haven’t quite figured out what the theme of the game might be. Maybe it’s ‘grab that c-pawn back sooner!’.
